From September of 2008 through January of 2009 I posted in the "free" section of Hartford's Craigslist offering a "free delicious dinner" in return for "stories". After thoroughly prompting and explaining the nature of my project to them over email, I invited participants into my home, cooked them dinner, and filmed them in my college bedroom, sharing with me whatever experiences and feelings they were moved to talk about. The resulting project, a silent, three channel video installation on a thirty-four minute loop, was shown in Zilkha Gallery in May of 2009, for my senior thesis at Wesleyan University.
